Trinity Hospice, with the support of news reader Huw Edwards, is appealing to people to illuminate its Christmas tree by making a donation towards the annual Light Up a Life appeal. For every donation received in response to the appeal, a symbolic light will be placed on the tree to dedicate and honour the life of a loved one. The tree will be ‘switched on’ during a short candle-lit ceremony on December 11 at 6.30pm.
